Thames Oilport

Thames Oilport, established in 2012 is a joint venture between Royal Vopak, Greenergy and Shell UK Limited situated on the estuary of the River Thames. Significant investment will be spent at this facility to create a state of the art import and distribution terminal for oil products.

The facility will be owned by the joint venture partners and managed by Vopak Services Limited UK on its behalf. The initial storage capacity of the terminal is circa 500.000 thousand cubic meters with the potential to expand to 1 million cubic meters in later stages.

The terminal has five deep water jetties handling up to 300,000 Displacement weight vessels Thames Oilport will play an important role in the supply chain of our customers designed to meet the fuel needs of London and the South East for the foreseeable future.
